Aircon-heating

The house has to inverters installed to heat in winter and cool in summer. The units are placed in the kitchen and in the smallest bedroom on the first floor. The unit are operated using the remote controls placed in holders in the wall. It is essential to select the correct function to achieve the desired results.

To operate the units, turn them on using the button in the upper right corner on the remote control (on work if you point the remote towards the unit). Then press mode to select the right function. The easy choice is to select auto. In auto mode, you have to specify how many centigrades you want the unit to heat (+1 to +5) or cool (-1 to -5). However, it may be easier to select either the aircon function (figure 2) or the heating function (figure 3). In the modes you select the. Desired temperature by pressing arrow up or down. In all the modes you can select fan-speed by pressing the fan-speed button.

The HI/Eco botton either boosts the function of the unit or conserves energy. We do not usually use these functions. If you open the flap there is a whole range of advanced functions the require the use of the manual, which is in the cupboard under the stairs (see figure 4 and figure 5).

If you need to cool the large bedroom on the 1st floor we recommend that you keep the door to the terrace door closed, the door to the small bedroom open. If you want to boost it further, place a fan that can ventilate the cool air at floor level into the large bedroom (figure 6).
